The government is Celia San Miguel. I'm a 27-year-old Bronx-based writer who was born and raised in Puerto Rico (where I was playing and poppin' reggaeton tapes since a shorty). I've been an active journalist for over seven years and have written for pubs like the NY Post (I was the Deputy Editor of the TEMPO section, and brought y'all some of the stories you loved on Tego Caldeorn, Daddy Yankee, Ivy Queen, Luny Tunes, Don Omar, Glory, Hector El Father, Zion y Lennox, Wisin Y Yandel, and more), the NY Daily News, VIBE, Scratch, King, Latina, Urban Latino, The Ave, DNR, Paper, Upscale, Dapper, CITY, Complex, and more. I've loved reggaeton since its inception and want to document it accurately and lovingly — that's the mission of this blog. Pa'lante mi gente!
